Symposium commemorating official launch of the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive FY 2012: "The records, the will to preserve them and the effort to hand them down to future generations" (held on March 26th, 2013)

The National Diet Library has officially released the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive on March 7th, 2013.
The Great East Japan Earthquake Archive project (Japanese) is to collect, preserve and provide public access to the records of the disaster from earthquake, tsunami and nuclear power plant, in cooperation with other institutions.
In the symposium, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the NDL will give an outline of the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive, which will be followed by lecture, case report and discussion by persons involved, institutions and organizations, about the preservation and application of the records of the disaster.
