It has been eight years since the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, a series of earthquakes that affected Kumamoto Prefecture on April 14th, 2016, at 9:26 p.m. HINAGIKU collaborates with "Digital Archives of Kumamoto Disasters" operated by Kumamoto Prefecture. Materials which are exhibited on the top page of HINAGIKU

"Digital Archives of Kumamoto Disasters" makes photographs, videos, documents, and other materials collected from a wide range of local governments and related organizations publicly available to preserve the experiences and lessons learned from the Kumamoto earthquake and the July 2020 heavy rains for future generations and to apply them to future disaster response.
