New content in the NDL Great East Japan Earthquake Archive (HINAGIKU)
 

• Collection of Post-disaster Reconstruction in Nagaoka city (Historical archive section in Nagaoka city central library)

The Historical archive section in Nagaoka city central library has been collecting and preserving materials related to disasters from the Mid Niigata prefecture Earthquake on October 23rd, 2004. Materials are on Heavy Rain in Niigata and Fukushima Prefectures on July 13th, 2004, the Mid Niigata prefecture Earthquake in 2004, the Niigataken Chuetsu-oki Earthquake in 2007 and shelter in Nagaoka city at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Part of these materials are open to the public as "Post-disaster reconstruction related materials" in the "Collection of Post-disaster Reconstruction in Nagaoka city" established on October 23rd, 2014 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Mid Niigata prefecture Earthquake.
As of October 21st, 2014, 595 bibliographic data of books, 3,696 bibliographic data of photos and 2,970 bibliographic data of other materials (flyer, CD, etc.) are searchable in HINAGIKU.
