International Symposium on the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive FY 2015: "Disaster Archives as community memories for the future" (held on January 11th, 2016)

The National Diet Library (NDL) and the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) of Tohoku University are pleased to hold a symposium on the Great East Japan Earthquake Archive at the auditorium of IRIDeS, Tohoku University, on January 11th, 2016.
The symposium will feature discussion of the advantages and challenges of maintaining digital archives of disaster records and the significance of these archives for the affected municipalities.
